Apply for a chalet at Bath Christmas Market

One thing that makes Bath Christmas Market so special is our stallholders. We are proud to showcase some of the best makers, charities, caterers and independent businesses from the South West and beyond. Applications for Bath Christmas Market 2026 will open at the end of March. More information such as price lists, site plans and Stallholder terms will be available in the coming weeks. Applications are not first-come, first-served so please ensure you take your time. We do not consider any applications until the closing date has passed. 

  • Important Dates

    Bath Christmas Market will run from Thursday 26 November to Sunday 13 December. Our opening hours are: 

    Monday to Wednesday: 10am to 7pm 

    Thursday to Saturday: 10am to 8pm 

    Sunday: 10am to 6pm 

    Stallholders are only permitted to trade during these hours, and must be open for the full hours each day of trading. 

    Our stallholder applications will open from the end of March for approximately 4 weeks. We will confirm exact dates in the coming weeks.

  • Pitch Options

    At Bath Christmas Market, there is a pitch option for everyone. Our pitch hire includes your structure (where applicable), event management and support, electricity (excluding carts), marketing and advertising, and 24-hour security. The range of pitches we have includes: 

    • 18 day, 11 day and 7 day chalet hire
    • 3 day and 4 day Christmas Cart hire
    • 1 day free charity/community group hire
    • Catering chalets
    • Pitch-only catering options

    More details of each pitch type will be available in due course.

  • The Application Process

    Our application process is all done online and you do not need to submit any samples. All you have to do is follow the instructions and fill in all of the relevant information. You will be asked to provide information on the following: 

    • Details of company and applicant
    • Description of your business and products
    • Details of how your products are made and where your materials are sourced
    • Sustainability
    • Product mix
    • Preferred location 

    Our site plan, price list and chalet information will be available ahead of applications opening. This is not a first-come first-serve application! One applications close, we thoroughly review everyone's proposals before curating our line up. Everyone should hear back from us by July. 

  • Our selection process

    Bath Christmas Market is a popular event, receiving many high-quality applications from a wide range of exceptional businesses. We take into consideration many different elements when deciding on our final list of stallholders including the following points:

    1. Locality of business and materials
    2. Quality of products
    3. Ethics of the business
    4. Product Range
    5. Retail Mix
    6. Customer Profile
    7. Price Range 

    Whilst this is not all that we take into consideration, this provides a basis for us to start selecting our line up. We place a particular emphasis on businesses from Bath & North East Somerset however all of the above criteria is taken into account across all applications. Trading at a previous Bath Christmas Market does not automatically qualify you for this year's event.
