Seasonal Events

Bath is the place to be this winter, with a fantastic variety of events for everyone. A major attraction running in the city centre is the renowned Bath Christmas Market, transforming the area around the Abbey and the Roman Baths into an enchanting shopper’s haven. Now boasting over 140 stalls, this year sees the market expand to Milsom Place and Bath Street too, next to the carousel, spreading the magical atmosphere across the city.

This year sees an enchanting new open air ice rink arrive in Royal Victoria Park, perfect for spending a fun day out with family and friends, or to break the ice on a romantic date.

It’s party time at the American Museum this winter too, as the annual Christmas at Claverton event puts on its festive display, decorating Claverton Manor with hand crafted decorations and a Christmas trail for children to enjoy.

Another festive must-see for all the family is the traditional pantomime at the Theatre Royal. This year Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are coming to Bath, featuring award winning theatre actress and television star Nichola McAuliffe.  

If this isn’t enough to get you in the festive spirit, then the Carols by Candlelight service is guaranteed to do the job, as the City of Bath Bach Choir returns to the Pump Room for their annual Christmas carol concert, 19-21 December.
