Bath Christmas Market was complemented by a full programme of entertainment including carol singers, children’s entertainers and musicians that all added to the fantastic festive ambience.
Bath Abbey provides a stunning backdrop to the market and hosted a full programme of Christmas services, including their special one-of-a-kind ‘shoppers’ services’. The sound of carols echoing around the Abbey and drifting through the Christmas Market created a wonderfully celebratory atmosphere.
We were pleased to welcome the E3 Theatre Company to sing Christmas carols around the market. They are a group of Musical Theatre students studying at the Wessex Academy of Performing Arts. Donations from festive shoppers helped fund their transport, set, costume, props and marketing campaign for their upcoming shows and productions.
The Norland College Choir is made up of 28 first and second year students who are studying Early Years Development and Learning. The choir was formed in 2009 and is led by Grenville Jones.
The Natural Theatre Company looked fantastic dressed as fabulous fairies, life size presents and festive elves. They surprised shoppers with sprinkles of fairy dust and lots of Christmas cheer!
If you’d like to get involved next year we’d love to hear from you.
