New catering company at Christmas Market

New catering company will join Christmas Market serving traditional British food

 

A new catering company will be joining this year’s Bath Christmas Market to refresh the offering and provide something different for the many thousands of visitors who attend the festive event. 

 

Following a selection process, Bath Tourism Plus, who organise the annual event, has appointed a consortium of caterers led by Supreme Sausages who are based in Oxfordshire.  They will provide stalls serving delicious British food including English pancakes, gourmet burgers, soups, traditional sausage cobs and mince pies, as well as mulled wine and cider, and plenty of warming tea and coffee. 

 

Robin Bischert, chief executive of Bath Tourism Plus, says they are looking forward to working with Supreme Sausages and explains, “We are really pleased with the variety and quality of food that Supreme Sausages and their partners will be offering and are sure that it will be popular with visitors to the market”.

 

The family-run business has an excellent reputation for high quality catering with an extensive portfolio of experience at events from the BBC Good Food exhibition to the Glastonbury Festival and the Royal Bath & West Show.  One of the stalls, who will be selling English Pancakes, has won the Taste of the West Award three times for the quality of their food.

 

All stalls will source local ingredients for their diverse menus, including seasonal fayre and vegetarian options, and endorse the use of Fair Trade. They will have 6 stalls across the market and will have a contract with Bath Tourism Plus to provide food at the event for the next 3 years.
