Bath Tourism calls local charities

Each year Bath Tourism Plus, organisers of the Christmas Market, offer the chance for local charities to share a stall, free of charge, for the duration of the market.  Allocated at random, each charity is given the opportunity to trade for one day during the event.  There are currently spaces available and Bath Tourism Plus is encouraging charities in the Bath & North East Somerset area to get in touch if they would like to take part in the market which will run from the 26th November to the 6th December.

Attracting approximately 225,000 visitors to the city each year, Bath Christmas Market is the premier Christmas shopping event in the South West with over 120 wooden chalet style stalls selling unique products and gifts.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to increase the awareness and profile of participating charities and to help raise valuable funds”, says Charlotte Buckley, events executive at Bath Tourism Plus, in charge of organising this year’s event.  Charities should contact Charlotte on 01225 396417 or by email charlotte_buckley@bathtourism.co.uk if interested with contact details including full postal address, a brief description of the charity and information on the products they would intend to sell.

Further information about the market can be found on the official website www.bathchristmasmarket.co.uk or by contacting Charlotte on the number above.
